About the Position
The Vice President of Operations provides overall direction and guidance in the day-to-day operational activities of the organization in support of company growth targets and the bottom line performance.  The VP, Operations reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
About Key Responsibilities
The VP of Operations will be responsible for:
  • Team Leadership & Development-
    • Development and implementation of strategic plans, tactical plans, and budgets.  
    • Manage, train, develop and assess performance and ensure completion of objectives of direct reports
    • Work with Ops team to identify, define and address key regional and clinic issues and priorities.  
    • Gain Ops team’s understanding, acceptance, and commitment to goals and plans.
    • Identify situations where a lack of skills or knowledge is a barrier to successful team performance.
    • Team meetings (rhythm & otherwise)
  • Planning
    • Coordinates development of operating and capital budgets; monitors monthly and other financial statements and takes effective corrective action
    • Assists in the establishment of a system of controls to minimize the risk of financial loss and ensure organizational integrity as required.
    • Develops, maintains and administers a sound organizational plan, including operating policies and procedures; initiates improvements as necessary

About Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of Multi-Site Operations oversight
  • Experience in scaling business, preferably in a mergers/acquisitions environment
  • Action Oriented - Embraces their responsibility for leading results, swift execution, and driving performance
  • System Operations - Strong analytical skills to set the right priorities and make decisions based upon accurate analysis into operating realities
  • Coaching and Training - Able to provide positive (affirming) and negative (constructive) feedback on all aspects of employee performance, in a way that is accepted and implemented.    Able to coach and deliver training in the field.
  • Interpersonal/Communications - Able to build trust and rapport with employees.   Able to persuade, convince, and gain acceptance.
  • Self-Management - Able to set and achieve goals independently.   Able to manage time and priorities.
