Our client is seeking a specialist to engage with our clients, representing their program at various client locations in New Jersey. In your role as Engagement Specialist you will partner with internal teams, clients, and clients’ vendors to promote and enroll employees in our client's personalized weight management coaching program. 

This is an educational role that requires a true “people person” with a lot of drive, and the ability for self-management. You will promote a culture of wellness among our clients’ workforce, presenting our client's weight management program as a solution to obesity and other weight issues that challenge health and self-esteem. Your efforts will help our clients reduce healthcare costs, improve employee morale, reduce absenteeism, and improve retention. While onsite with our clients, you’ll also be able to identify additional business opportunities.

We have two Engagement Specialist positions open, one in the northern part of NJ and one in the southern half. You’ll work remotely from your home office, but travel frequently to client sites, as well as to company events and lunch-and-learns in Newark.

Responsibilities
  • Create, facilitate and present at onsite client events such as quarterly health and safety wellness meetings, lunch-and-learns, union meetings, management meetings, etc.
  • Identify opportunities to creatively engage and enroll client employees in our client's programs
  • Build relationships and establish rapport with key stakeholders, both internally and with client personnel
  • Foster an overall culture of health and well-being within our clients’ facilities
  • Assist clients with planning and implementing marketing campaigns
  • Make recommendations on engagement tactics and increasing program participation
  • Develop best practices and processes related to employee engagement
  • Collaborate with third party vendors to ensure integration across services
  • Serve as a mentor to clients’ local well-being leaders, as needed

  • A Bachelor's’ degree in an applicable field such as public health and/or corporate wellness
