About the Job
The Cardiovascular Epidemiologist conduct of pharmacoepidemiologic research in the cardiovascular area.  They will contribute or co-lead directed by or in collaboration with a Senior Epidemiologist projects with particular emphasis on field and database studies of medication safety including risk minimization.
  • Providing clinical and epidemiologic cardiovascular expertise to the epidemiology team and the organization at large.
  • Designing and writing proposals
  • Designing studies, writing protocols and analysis plans
  • Analyzing results, writing study reports and manuscripts
  • Contributing to and coordinating interactions with clients and research partners
Job Requirements
  • Medical training(M.D.), preferably with cardiology specialty or related (e.g. internal medicine, preventive medicine or other with cardiovascular focus),
  •  Master's level degree in Epidemiology or related field
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience. Prior experience working within a pharmacoepidemiology or relevant field research organization/institution is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated effective communications (written, verbal and presentation skills) in a cross functional collaborative environment. The working language is English. Additional languages will be highly valued.
  • Ability to perform duties that require close attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisor, technical staff, research partners and clients.
  • Ability to operate in a team environment and be flexible in taking on and performing assignments as necessary
